Do you think students should be αble to stαy up αs lαte αs they wαnt on weekends? Why or Why not?
I think that it would be okay for students to stay up late, as long as they get around eight hours of sleep and go to bed at normal times on Sunday because of school. If a student stays up too late, then their brain will not get the rest it needs. If their brain doesn’t get enough rest, then they cant function properly. If they cant function properly, then they cant get everything done, including the stuff they need to do. This will affect their grades, reputation, hygiene, and future jobs. This is why I think that sleep time should be monitored, even on the weekends.

“Compαrison is the thief of joy.” ~~Theοdore Roosevelt
This quote is spectacular! I think thαt Theodore Roosevelt meant that if you compαre yourself to others αnd αre hard on yourself, then you will never be αs happy αs you could be. Compαrison cαn destroy relαtionships αnd people will always compete to be superior. If people αre always competing, then nobody cαn truly have joy.

“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.” ~~Albert Einstein
This quote is amazing. I think that Albert Einstein meant that if you have never made a mistake, then you have both never stepped out of your comfort zone and never done anything new. If you have made mistakes before, then you have also learned and tried new things and stepped out of your comfort zone. If you have never made a mistake, then while you may feel superior to others who have made mistakes, you really aren’t. Only people who have made mistakes have truly felt happy. Only people who have made mistakes have stepped out of their comfort to truly have fun.

“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” ~~Neale Donald Walsch
This quote is right in many ways. I believe that Neale meant that if you stay in your comfort zone all your life, you will never have any true fun. You can play games and lay around all day, or you can step out of your comfort zone and live life on the edge. You can do a forward roll on a trampoline, or you can do a flip. You can walk down the steps into a pool, or you can jump off the diving board. You can skate around on the ice rink, avoiding all the other players during hockey, or you can throw yourself into the commotion, get the puck, and score a goal. If you live life in your comfort zone, you will never truly live life. If you step out of your comfort zone and give your all, you will live a full and entertaining life.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain
This quote is dazzling! I think that Mark Twain meant that you should live life on the edge, not in the safety of civilization. When you are older, you will be sad that you didn’t take the opportunity to discover and explore something new. Dream big. If you limit yourself, then you will never try something new. You will never be able to experience the true beauty of nature or the charm of wildlife. You will never be able to truly laugh and have fun. You will never experience the joyful feelings we were meant to feel. If something goes wrong, you will never be able to laugh about it later in life. Being limited or restrained by something or someone else is bad enough, but doing it to yourself is even worse. Live life on the edge. Explore. Dream. Discover.

“Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.” ~~Buddha
This quote is beautiful. I think that when he said this, Buddha meant that there is no point in lying, and the truth will eventually come out. If you do something you aren’t supposed to and then fib about it, when the truth comes out, you’ll be in even more trouble. However, if you tell the truth about it, then you will create a bond of trust between whoever you might have lied to. Say the truth is the sun and lies are clouds. The lies will cover up the truth and keep people in the dark, but sooner or later the rays of truth will come out and shine upon the earth. Tell the truth, and people will trust you. Tell the truth, and people will believe you. Lie, and toss your reputation in the trash. Tell the truth, and you will live a happy life without guilt.

“Never look backwards or you’ll fall down the stairs.” Rudyard Kipling
Rudyard Kipling was right. I think he meant that if at some point in your life, something amazing happens to you, don’t look back when it ends. This will just cause you to fall even further down in life. Don’t focus on the past or the future. Focus on the present. The past is not important, and the future will eventually come, so there is no point in focusing on the future. Today is most important because today is what is given to us. Tomorrow is not significant to us until tomorrow becomes today. Otherwise, it is useless.

What is the hardest thing about school so far? How can you make it better?
The hardest thing about school so far has been when somebody else is off track and is messing around, and when I try to remind them to focus, they don’t. This causes a problem for me because I get distracted and I cant focus. This makes me frustrated and overwhelmed. Sometimes I get a headache, other times I get depressed and start second guessing myself on everything. Sometimes, it’s both. I don’t know what will help this other than being a role model, but hopefully, it will work.

What is your favorite part of early fall and why?
My favorite part of early fall is when the frost has covered the golden and red leaves of the trees and the cool wind blows around you.
